Unit Maintenance

This course covers wig and hair design, dressing and maintenance. Students will learn to handle issues such as choosing the right hair pieces for different types of performances and situations, designing and dressing hair pieces appropriate for specific periods and decades, and choosing the right tools and materials to get a desired effect. Students will be exposed to various techniques and tips used by professional wig makers and designers. Each student will have the opportunity to prepare and style their own wig.
